I have 11 GCSE A-A*, 3 As at A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics, 2 Bs at AS-Levels in Physics and Critical Thinking. I am currently in my final year of Medicine from St Georges, results can be provided if required.
Experience
I have been tutoring for the last 5 years with children ranging from 9-19 years old. I can tutor pupils in Mathematics and the Sciences in the English and American systems. It started of as a means to earn cash in my early years in university and I would tutor the 1st and 2nd years in my course, then I tried tutoring other age ranges that I've listed above. I realised quickly that the problem that most people have is that the information is not broken down sufficiently for them and in lessons they can just become lost which puts down their confidence. This is why I aim to make individuals reach their full potential and make them confident in their abilities, through regular assessment and positive praise and encouragement. My teaching includes implementing examination techniques which has been acquired through my experience in assisting relatives and marking exam papers for boards like, Edexcel, AQA, OCR. At the end of every lesson we review their learning and set goals for future lessons. I have a good track record of motivating pupils in reaching their full potential. I believe that every child matters and my goal is for my pupils to exceed their target grade. I tailor my teaching to meet my pupil's individual learning needs. Learning should be an enjoyable experience and I always endeavour to cultivate this type of atmosphere when I teach.
